Doedijns Instrumentation Captures New Markets

Established temperature sensing manufacturer Doedijns Instrumentation, along with their brand name Thermo Electric, have created a fully integrated online solution to drive sales in new and existing markets.

Leading temperature sensor manufacturer Doedijns Instrumentation has launched a fully integrated website solution. The bespoke web development project has enabled the company to tailor its product offering more aligned to its specific geographic and country markets. Doedijns Instrumentation along with its established brand of temperature sensing; Thermo Electric, has developed this unique system which has strengthened the company's current relationships, whilst capturing new markets. 
The company, whose products serve a variety of manufacturing sectors, aims to further create a knowledge-driven environment, encouraging its product managers to communicate specific applications and experiences of their products from the field. It is the company's intention to leverage the rise in social media and to initiate conversations in their specialist areas of temperature sensing. This online sharing of information plans to fill a two-way conversation void which exists around perceived and real-world product features and benefits - important details which are sometimes excluded from normal product communications, such as case studies. 
The company has been producing specialist industrial temperature sensors under the brand name Thermo Electric for over 40 years. 'We have become quite a knowledge intense business without actually realising this,' says Product Manager Joop Scheffer. 'We see ourselves as manufacturers first and foremost. However, we are acknowledged by our customers as thought-leaders, who turn to Doedijns Instrumentation and Thermo Electric as a specialist provider of information. We believe that we have something unique to offer, more so now with the uptake of social media within the business-to-business sectors.'
The company plans to build a communication platform for each of its country markets. The solution will create micro websites based off the corporate website platform. This will be specifically tailored to the needs of each sector to further capture the interests of new markets. 'The backbone of the Thermo Electric brand will always be our successful portfolio of products' says Doedijns Instrumentation Managing Director, Jan Willem Noordermeer. 'It is here that we are well known, however, we see opportunities to deepen our customer relationships by providing even greater product and application information, specifically related to each market. It is our aim to provide a platform for our product managers and employees to post informative content about our industry, and to encourage them to communicate with our customers around a common interest'.      
Thermo Electric is a brand wholly operated by Doedijns Instrumentation BV. The company has been designing and manufacturing temperature sensing solutions for over 40 years and supplies a variety of sectors including; Petrochemical, Chemical, Steel, Semi-conductor and Aerospace. The company has fully certified calibration laboratories which meet international standards, including onsite cleanroom facilities.
